HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) is a non-ionic cellulose ether used in cement and gypsum-based mortars as a water-retention agent and thickener.

Redispersible Polymer Powder
RDP
RDP is a spray-dried vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) or acrylic emulsion that reverts to a polymer dispersion the moment it meets water. It turns an ordinary cement mix into a modern tile adhesive, skim coat or waterproofing slurry.
